A few days ago, the article came out in The Irish Independent about the project, we had the honor of taking part, two years ago. This was one of the most prominent projects from Loghouse in Co Wicklow.
Here is the article itself:
We ended up with tons of beautiful photos taken during this project… when the customer is a professional photographer!
Thank you, Trevor!
The project was supervised by architect Padraig Clancy from SK Design. We developed the foundation following the given specifications, carried out groundworks, ducting for ESB and installed the septic tank with percolation area. Engineers did percolation tests to make sure everything is done correctly.
After LOGHOUSE team erected the loghouse, we installed a 150mm XPS floor insulation, airtight membrane, extra XPS insulation in the vaulted ceilings and walls and full underfloor heating system powered by Panasonic’s Air2Water heat pump.
The slate roof and most of the internal work was done by us, including the plumbing, bathrooms, fitting the kitchen, painting and landscaping around the house.
A smashing project!
